For my meal I had chilli nachos to start. I was disappointed with the nachos as I didn't expect chilli to be thrown on top of what appeared to be cheap tortilla chips. It certainly didn't match the decor in quality or appearance. For my main course I had carbonara pasta. The dish was generous in size but bland in taste. A little authentic Italian tuning is required.
To wash it all down I chose an El Muro red wine, which was pleasant on the palette.
Overall Canal Station is a lovely pub with good 'pub grub' availab
